Peter Tumolo, LPC

In-person in Chandler, AZ; virtual across Arizona.

  • I’m outdoorsy – I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, paddle boarding, camping and snowboarding – and I love music, especially the Grateful Dead and other jam bands

  • I’m married with two kids, and they are the loves of my life.

  • I’m a glass-half full kind of guy – an Enneagram 7 (“The Enthusiast”) –  and have been told that I see the best in people.

  • Speaking of which, I love throwing dinner parties and my wife says I always serve too much food and wine.

  • I’ve been known to sing in the car and the shower.

I’ve been where you are. Growing up, I faced tough times—depression, substance use, and struggling in school. I was checked out and at times felt hopeless. But with the help of an amazing therapist, I turned my life around and began to take things more seriously.

That’s why I do what I do today. I believe one person can make a huge difference, and I’m here to be that for you.

My approach is all about making you feel truly seen and safe, so we can tackle the tough stuff together. Clients often tell me they make more progress with me in a few months than they did in years with other therapists, and that’s because I’m focused on real change, not just talk.

People tell me I’m laid back and easy to talk to, but I don’t mess around when it comes to your healing.

I’m the kind of therapist who can crack a joke one minute, then push you to dig deep the next.

My clients say they feel safe with me—like they can actually be real without worrying about judgment. I’ve got a way of explaining things that just makes sense, and I won’t waste your time with the usual “how does that  make you feel?” stuff.

We’re here to make real changes, and I’m all in to help you get there.
